Powered By Nespresso

Instead of simply talking about sustainability on Earth Day 2018, we decided to demonstrate what it truly means.

 

For one week, we turned part of VivoCity into a self-sustaining Nespresso Gallery. We told the Nespresso story of quality, recyclability and second life through the gallery itself.

 

We thoughtfully curated, built and designed our gallery with items and materials that have passed through the Nespresso journey and created a centrepiece that’s fully powered by Nespresso.

Farm to table

 

We collaborated with the Open Farm Community and Quan Fa to create a special coffee pairing menu. To further follow through on the cause, we worked with Quan Fa and Food Bank to build and own our very own Nespresso powered farm.

​

To get all of our consumers to be a part of the Nespresso story, we have a Nespresso-owned area at Quan Fa Organic Farm that shows how the used coffee grounds can be made into nutrient-rich composts that can power up a farm in a year-long project.

Food for good

​

We revealed the Nespresso Farm at our VivoCity outlet launch, together with our live tracker. This encourages Singaporeans to recycle their pods, by connecting them to a greater cause.

 

With every capsule deposited in our live tracker, we tell a visual story of how each pod goes into powering up our Nespresso Farm, which in turn powers up a meal for the less fortunate. At the end of the journey, we dispense a voucher from like-minded socially-conscious companies.
